Korrosion ist ein unsichtbarer Kostenfaktor – volkswirtschaftlich bedeutend, technisch oft unterschätzt. Jährlich fließen Milliarden in die Instandhaltung und Sanierung von Stahlbauten, die unter den Einflüssen von Feuchte, Luft und Schadstoffen rosten. Dabei gibt es mit dem Spritzverzinken ein bewährtes Verfahren, das weltweit als wirtschaftlicher, langlebiger und ökologisch sinnvoller Korrosionsschutz zum Einsatz kommt. Doch in Deutschland wird sein Potenzial bislang nur punktuell ausgeschöpft.

Corrosion is an invisible cost factor – economically significant, but often underestimated from a technical perspective. Every year, billions are spent on the maintenance and renovation of steel structures that corrode under the influence of moisture, air and pollutants. Spray galvanising is a proven process that is used worldwide as an economical, durable and ecologically sound form of corrosion protection. However, its potential has only been exploited to a limited extent in Germany to date.
