Es wird über den Wettbewerb, die Detailplanung, die Ausschreibung und die Bauausführung des Arpeggio, der Hauptbrücke der Hisingsbronquerung in Göteborg, berichtet. Diese Hubbrücke wird die alternde Klappbrücke aus dem Jahre 1939 ersetzen und für eine bessere Anbindung von Straße, Straßenbahn sowie Geh- und Radwegen der nördlich gelegenen Bereiche an die Stadtmitte beitragen. Durch die Absenkung der Gradiente wurde es möglich, die Länge der Querung kürzer zu gestalten und somit wertvolle Flächen zur weiteren Entwicklung der Stadt zu gewinnen.

Arpeggio - the main bridge of the new Hisingsbron in Gothenborg
It is reported on the competition, detailed design, tendering and construction of the Arpeggio, the main bridge of the Hisingsbron crossing in Gothenburg. This lift bridge will replace the aging bascule bridge from 1939 and will contribute to a better connection of road, tram way and foot and cycle paths from the northern areas to the city center. By lowering the gradient, it was possible to shorten the length of the crossing and thus gain valuable space for the further development of the city.
