The Skypark Business Center, situated adjacent to Luxembourg Airport's Terminal A, exemplifies a large‐scale hybrid structure that combines concrete, timber, and steel. While timber plays a central role in the superstructure for environmental and aesthetic reasons, steel was critical in solving key structural challenges, not only through standard structural applications but by enabling bespoke, high‐performance solutions. These include long‐span trusses, cantilevers as well as composite slabs and beams. This article outlines how steel elements were effectively integrated within a predominantly timber framework to achieve architectural flexibility, structural efficiency, and accelerated construction. A special focus is placed on the three‐story‐high hybrid timber‐steel trusses spanning up to 46 m, the 14‐m timber‐steel cantilever and custom fabricated steel curved beams. The project demonstrates how steel continues to be indispensable even in structures where it is not the dominant material by volume.
