Die Aufstockung eines Bürogebäudes in der Frankfurter Innenstadt zeigt die Möglichkeiten des Stahlverbundbaus. Zwei wesentliche Vorteile dieser Bauweise sind das geringe Gewicht und die Möglichkeiten zum brandsicheren Bauen. Darüber hinaus beweist dieses Bauwerk, dass auch komplexe geometrische Formen in Stahl- und Stahlverbundbauweise realisiert werden können.

Extension of the office building Junghofstraße, Frankfurt - Visible steel for a fire safe building. The addition of two new storeys to an existing office building in the centre of Frankfurt shows the potential of composite construction. Two major advantages are the low weight and the good performance in a fire. Additionally this project shows the ability to build a complex geometry by using steel and composite structures.
