Bullflex O-ring seals are primarily used for the launch and breakthrough of tunnel boring machines in start and target shafts. The system is based on textile hoses made of high-strength fabric, which are filled with concrete and have good sealing properties and a high load-bearing capacity. During construction of the Emscher interceptor, they ensured numerous entrances and exits of tunnelling machines in the BA30 construction lot (see page 116).
Bullflex O-Ring Abdichtungen kommen primär für die Anfahrt und den Durchbruch von Tunnelvortriebsmaschinen in Start- und Zielschächten zum Einsatz. Das System basiert auf Textilschläuchen aus hochfestem Gewebe, die mit Mörtel gefüllt werden und gute Abdichtungseigenschaften sowie eine hohe Tragfähigkeit aufweisen. Beim Bau des Abwasserkanals Emscher ermöglichten sie im Baulos BA30 zahlreiche Ein- und Ausfahrten der Rohrvortrieb (siehe Seite 116).
