The squeezed connection developed by DSI Underground for a fast and safe connection of pipe umbrellas is a decisive step in the development history of the AT-Pipe Umbrella System. The system ensures a simple, fast and cost-efficient connection of pipe umbrella tubes. The squeezed connection results in increased bending stiffness in the connection area in comparison to conventional threaded tubes. Furthermore, the load-bearing capacity of the connection is more than 50 % higher than the elastic design value of default pipe umbrella tubes (see page 96).
Die von DSI Underground entwickelte Pressverbindung zur schnellen und sicheren Verbindung von Rohrschirmrohren ist ein entscheidender Schritt in der Entwicklungsgeschichte des AT-Rohrschirmsystems. Das System ermöglicht die einfache, schnelle und kostengünstige Verbindung von Rohrschirmrohren. Das Presssystem hat im Bereich der Verbindung eine deutlich höhere Biegesteifigkeit als konventionelle Schraubsysteme. Zudem ist die Tragfähigkeit der Pressverbindung um rund 50 % höher als der elastische Bemessungswert von ungeschwächten Rohrschirmrohren (siehe Seite 96).
