Zirkuläres Bauen: Der Wiener Weg

Der Bau‐ und Immobiliensektor ist besonders ressourcen‐ und emissionsintensiv. Für die Transformation von einer linearen hin zu einer zirkulären Bauwirtschaft braucht es eine tragfähige Strategie und die Mitwirkung aller an einem gemeinsamen Lern‐ und Veränderungsprozess. Die Stadt Wien hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, das zirkuläre Planen und Bauen schrittweise bis 2030 als Standard zu etablieren, und dies in ihrer Kreislaufwirtschaftsstrategie festgelegt. Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, wurde das Programm „DoTank Circular City Wien 2020–2030“ eingerichtet, das in übergreifenden Formaten eng mit Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft zusammenarbeitet. Ein zentrales Projekt im DoTank ist die Entwicklung eines Zirkularitätsfaktors als strukturiertes Kriterien‐ und Indikatorenset für das zirkuläre Bauen.

The construction and real estate sector is particularly resource‐ and emission‐intensive. Transforming from a linear to a circular construction economy requires a viable strategy as well as the involvement of all actors in a shared learning and change process. The City of Vienna has set the goal of gradually establishing circular planning and construction as a standard by 2030 and has anchored this goal in its circular economy strategy. To achieve this goal, the programme ‘DoTank Circular City Vienna 2020–2030’ was established, collaborating closely with industry and academia through cross‐sectoral exchange formats. A central project within the DoTank is the development of a Circularity Factor as a structured set of criteria and indicators for circular construction.
