Infraleichtbeton - Grundlagen, bauphysikalische Eigenschaften und Referenzbauwerke

Infraleichtbeton ist ein konstruktiver Hochleistungsleichtbeton, der Lastabtrag und Wärmedämmung in einem Material vereint. Durch seine geringe Wärmeleitfähigkeit und gute Druckfestigkeit können mehrgeschossige Gebäude mit monolithischem Wandaufbau realisiert werden, die ohne zusätzliche Dämmschicht die aktuellen strengen energetischen Anforderungen einhalten. Die einschalige Sichtbetonbauweise ermöglicht robuste, wenig komplexe und langlebige Konstruktionen, die gleichzeitig ein hohes gestalterische Potenzial aufweisen und somit einen Beitrag zur Baukultur leisten können. In diesem Artikel werden zunächst die Grundlagen zur Zusammensetzung und Herstellung des Infraleichtbetons sowie der Stand der Forschung kurz zusammengefasst. Die wesentlichen mechanischen Kennwerte werden aufgeführt und exemplarisch ausgewählte bauphysikalische Eigenschaften erläutert. Abschließend werden einige Referenzprojekte aus Infraleichtbeton vorgestellt.

Infra-Lightweight Concrete. Basics, building physical properties and case-studies.
Infra-Lightweight Concrete is a High Performance Lightweight Aggregate Concrete (HPLWAC) that combines load bearing and thermal insulation in one material. Due to its low thermal conductivity and comparatively good compressive strength, multi-story buildings can be constructed that meet current energy saving requirements without adding thermal insulation cladding. The monolithic fair-faced concrete structures allow robust structural details with little complexity. ILC structures can thus provide a high architectural potential and can contribute positively to the aesthetics of the built environment (Baukultur). In this paper a short overview of the state of research as well as basic information regarding the composition and production of ILC are presented. The fundamental mechanical properties are provided and some building physical properties are discussed before selected case studies are described in brief.
