Vorhangfassade auf Holzbasis - eine komplexe bauphysikalische Aufgabe

Der Beitrag befasst sich mit der Entwicklung einer Systemlösung für den Ersatz alter nichttragender Außenwände bei Nichtwohngebäuden aus den 1960er und 1970er Jahren. Die Hauptidee war, ein vorgefertigtes Produkt in moderner Holzbauweise zu entwickeln, um eine Alternative zu üblichen Metallbausystemen anzubieten. Es wurde bestätigt, dass ohne detaillierte bauphysikalische Analysen und Messungen eine erfolgreiche Entwicklung kaum möglich ist. Dieser Beitrag befasst sich mit Wärmeschutz und Umweltperformance. Ergebnisse des langfristigen Monitorings und weitere wichtige bauphysikalische Aspekte (Feuchteschutz, Bauakustik, Brandschutz) werden zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt behandelt.

Wood based curtain wall as a complex task in building physics.
The article deals with the development of a systemic solution for replacement of old curtain walls at nonresidential buildings from the sixties and seventies of the 20th century. The main idea was to develop a prefabricated system using modern wood products as an alternative to usual metallic constructions. It is demonstrated that without a complex analysis in building physics and measurements no successful development would be possible. This article is focused on thermal performance and environment oriented assessments, including embodied energy. Results of long-time monitoring and other important topics, like moisture, noise protection and fire safety, will be subject of a following article.
